My experience in graphics editing has been in different levels. There have been times when I just plugged-and-chugged (to use a phrase from my business statistics professor years ago), and other times when I've created the images or cleaned them up. I'm by far not an expert in graphics editing, but I rarely just adhere to the let the chips fall where they may philosophy. Graphics are too important to the message to let them simply be.

Just a quick rundown:

Park Palace: I mostly scanned images, although I did create a few. However, this was my first time dealing with graphics, so they are horrible. At least I tried!
Dobbs: I scanned in pictures, adjusted brightness and color, cropped, et cetera.
FedEx: I created screen shots, but only cropped and adjusted the size of the graphics. I worked with a graphic designer to create cover styles and produce a few images.
Personal Website: I created all the graphics using PageMaker, CorelDraw, and Photoshop. These are mostly simple images that I haven't had to fiddle much with.
Cingular: I'm creating screen shots, but not doing high-level editing of them (Hey, I'm not getting paid for this manual, so they ain't getting The Great American Manual).

Cheers,
JWH
