Hey, there has been a lot of discussion about writers learning more about
technical subjects. For me, that tends to cluster around IT. I am reviving
my website about Technical Subjects for Non-Techies and wondered if y'all
would be willing to give me some topic suggestions.

I define "non-techie techies" as professionals such as writers, trainers,
and project managers who work in the IT field.

Currently I am planning on writing about the Rational suite of products and
how it affects us, data mining with CAST, and content management. I am also
planning on focusing on current trends (by that I mean, what's in the latest
IT news with a slant on how it affects *us* (non-techie techies)) and career
development tips.

I am not including the URL on purpose to ensure this is not misconstrued as
an ad for the site. Besides the content is pretty old until next week when
I plan on adding a new article or two. I will also accept guest articles
but reserve the right to turn down articles that don't fit the criteria of
the site. Unfortunately I cannot pay for articles as I am not making any
money with this site at this time.

What other topics would you be interested in seeing or do you think someone
else in our fields would like to see? Do you have any other suggestions for
such a website?

Thanks for your input and ideas.
