Hi all,

I've been researching creating online help (with the
usual navigation aids such as indices and tables of
contents) for web-based applications (delivered
as JSPs by application servers). Anyway,
I came across this page which sounded hopeful:

http://www.help4web.org/

However, since the last update was in 2000, I presume
this initiative (to standardise web-based help)
has joined the choir invisible (ie., is dead).

Are there any other such initiatives? Any pointers
on this issue would be grateful received too;
I'm a bit overwhelmed by how many possible
solution there seem to be right now.

P.
