I've found the trick to having bullets appear as bullets with proper
alignment is to pick an average screen width (72), then cut back on
that...I use 62 positions wide, then use hard returns and spaces.
Don't forget to use a fixed width font, such as courier.

BTW...I also use many bullets...I guess that make us BOTH fabulous.
