Those reasons were top-of-head thoughts, but they were based on the
comments included in posts I received offlist from lurkers.

I assumed there was more to it. The reason I posted this thread was to
find out what *other* reasons might exist, and some good responses are
rolling in.


-Keith Cronin, who is a musician but is not related to Kevin Cronin, lead
singer for REO Speedwagon. But back in the old days when I was playing in
the same bars as REO, claiming to be related to Kevin was a good way to
meet girls...
