If I've offended Pat or anybody else I'm sorry. But I'm not sure how or
why offense was taken.
Although I sometimes think certain posters may try to manipulate the rest
of us, I don't think anybody did this time. In that respect I disagree
with that portion of Eric's post, as I state in the last couple paragraphs
of my post.
My suggestion to "pick a font and move on" was NOT directed to the earlier
font thread itself. I stayed OUT of that thread, believing that it (like
any thread) should be allowed to run its course, regardless of whether *I*
was interested. Obviously many people were interested, which to me is
proof of a thread's validity.
My response was directed to Eric's post, which I thought was a sensible
plea to not try to look for hard, factual resolutions to what are
primarily subjective issues.
So I'm confused. Pat, are you mad at me, or at Andrew, or both?
In my case, any offense caused is unintentional, I assure you. I can't
speak for Andrew - but then he's never needed anyone to speak for him. :)
Puzzled,
Keith Cronin
