In response to your comment, Keith (...So I'm confused. Pat, are you mad
at me, or at Andrew, or both?...), I'm not mad at anyone, nor am I
offended. I sometimes tend to write formally, and maybe that's what gave
you the impression that I was offended.
I guess that I've wanted to respond to the "Lurker" question but couldn't
quite put my finger on a good example, and your post gave me the
opportunity. Not pointing the finger at you, but I think some of us
infrequent posters and the topics we find interesting are dismissed by
some of the more vocal or experienced list members. And I shouldn't be
speaking for anyone else, because maybe no one else feels that way. This
just presented itself as a good way to illustrate why some lurkers may not
post.
I didn't intend any offense either, and I thought my post conveyed that.
If it didn't, I apologize. Remember, it's that Southern
upbringing--genteel and polite. It is rare that you will find me ever
responding in anger.
