Forgive the "me too," but I'll miss Andrew for the same reasons (Dave, I
love the "overclocked mind" metaphor). Especially the humor. Am I the only
one who noticed how often Andrew poked fun at *himself* (including the
wonderful "font fiddling" story of just the other day)?
Like Christine, I think many of his critics take themselves, their jobs --
heck, everything! -- way too seriously. There's a grim self-righteousness to
much of the recurring Andrew-bashing on this list. Which is ironic, because
I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that the harshest and most intolerant critics
of Andrew embrace a "liberal" or "progressive" world-view that preaches
tolerance and diversity.
Ah, well, Andrew didn't take his critics (or himself) too seriously, so I
won't either. ;-)
