Silicon Prairie Software has a similar plug-in for FrameMaker.

According to the accompanying PDF file,

"Auto-Text is a FrameMaker plug-in that allows you to define a set of text
or
graphic items and easily insert them into any FrameMaker document just
by making a menu selection or pressing a key sequence. It's like using
items from a document's reference page, only easier!"

You can get a copy of AutoText, as well as several other nifty FrameMaker
plug-ins, at:

It's the Autotext, hands down. The only problem with it is that I forget
that Autotext is only in Word. I keep waiting for the rest of the word to
popup as I type in other applications!
