"To queue" can be used as an intransitive verb, synonymous with "standing
in line". It can also be a transitive verb, in which case it is used
primarily in technical contexts: "The operating system queues all
requests from processes for disk space."

I am not aware of any synonyms, BE or AE, for "queueing" in this
transitive, technical sense.
