You could check out the University of Pheonix, they offer an masters program in e-learning. They'll probably have som stats.

Does anyone know where I can get a latest study or report done either on
the e-learning market or on the "New Media" (are they still calling it
that?) market? I've put in a request to the SBA office in Washington but
haven't heard back yet.
