TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
All of the 21 CFR, Part 11 training that I've come across (including the
ones suggested in this forum) are company-oriented and cost big bucks
(e.g., 2000 dollars for a two-day seminar). And over in Academia, the two
Universities that offer medical writing (USP and U of Chicago) do not offer
advanced topics such as 21 CFR, Part 11.
I'm snagged on the same catch-22 that John Posada is, and despite being
quite familiar with 21 CFR, Part 11 and with some relevant experience, still
cannot talk my way into a gig (and I'm a good talker!) . I'm going to take
this thread over to the AMWA (American Medical Writers Association) and see
what happens.
