Since I don't see a smiley, I'll respond to this as a real question.

To my knowledge, you can't. :-)

But if I *could* - or if I create the text in Word with paragraph
formats that match a FrameMaker template, or find some other silly
way to do the doc, it would be irrelevant to the client. As a 1099
contractor, how I get to to the deliverable is not the client's
concern. All the client has to say in the matter is that I must
contractually deliver X document in X format on X date. That's the
joy of having a contract.

Of course, in the real world, it's not always that simple, is it?
