Another bit of advice, know how seriously your previous employer takes their
confidentiality agreements. If the interviewer calls your previous employer
for a reference and mentions they saw your work from that job, you could be
in a heap of trouble.

My employer in my first tech writing job would've sued a writer instantly if
he found the writer had taken proprietary material without permission. He
was a wonderful person and terrific to work for, and he also expected me to
honor our written agreement. I respect that.
