Hi, guys...started a gig today at Barnes&Noble.com in NYC. Fellow-workers
seem pretty good, longevity (9+months) seems assured if I don't screw up.
What I'm doing is creating the complete document set on how the B&N.com web
site works behind the web. Complex stuff...I'm excited about it.
Which brings me to the topic. I'm to create Run books and Build books.
BTW...if some of you remember my question about 2 weeks ago about what is a
build book, in this case, it describes how each piece of hardware is built
(hardware and software). Anyway...
Over the next few months, I'll be submitting most of my questions to the
list directed toward run books. So...if in your travels, you come across
good examples of ecommerce or larger scale web application run/build books
that I can use for ideas, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right
direction. In return, as I discover cool and/or interesting facets of this
type of documentation, I'll keep you posted.
