I'm in the US and was told flat out by Adobe a few months ago that there was no trial version of FrameMaker. They were offering a 30-day money boack gaurantee, but you had to pay full price just to get a look at the software.
I notice today, after Florence's message that Adobe will now send you a free FrameMaker Solutions CD with literature and a trial version of the software via snail-mail. Alas it's only in English. So i don't think it would be any good for our Other-than-English speaking friends.
Does anybody has downloaded the trial version of FrameMaker last version?
I think this new version has been released a few months ago and I found a lot of more or less marketing "litterature" on it from the Adobe site.
Unlucky I am to live and work in France! I didn't find how to download -or receive by post- something I could test. It sounds like only US and Canadian users can download it.
It's just out of question I buy this new version without having test it a bit...
Has someone -North American or not- tested it? If yes, what's your feeling about it?
If someone knows a way to donwload it from outside the US or Canada, tell me.
