I work for Canada's leading documentary television company, Great North
Productions. We are currently filming a series for national broadcast on
gender differences. Our upcoming topic is Following Instructions.
Our documentary focuses on gender differences and I am seeking the answer to
a few questions about gender differences in following instructions. Do women
return objects more often than men with the complaint that they couldn't get
it together? Do men ignore the directions and try to "just figure it out on
their own." Do men prefer diagrams rather than written instructions? Who
can follow verbal instructions better? How do men and women differ in
reading instructions? Do you keep in consideration that different genders
approach to reading and comprehending instruction before writing them?
If you could help me out with the answers to some of these questions or
point me in the right direction I would be grateful. Thank you for your
