Good grief -- talk about another example of the whining Politically Correct
Left coming out to save the planet from offense. I find PC commentary like
the following just passive-aggressive bigotry. You have an opinion that you
want to express, so you use some innocent comment by a person to make a
point.
"You offended me ... shame on you!" <<<<<<<<<<<GASP!!!>>>>>>>>>>
No -- if I take such a position, that would identify *me* as a whining idiot
with absolutely zero tolerance for a nation founded on the right to free
speech and open discourse. The fact of the matter is, such false logic is a
cloak for the one-ton chip on my shoulder.
Somebody pass me a cup of decaf.

Trish,
I just have to take you to task on your comment:
<snip>
Sheesh! I'm pregnant, not disabled! (*Absolutely no offense intended to
disabled people!*)
<snip>
You can't make a blanket statement like that and then expect people to
accept it as OK simply because you place a contradictory apology after it.
You are doing just as much damage to disabled folks as someone who would
make the same statement without the disclaimer apology. And you are
perpetuating the belief that disabled folks can't work, or work
consistently. We may need some different considerations but our disabilities
in no way impair the quality of our work.
Of course I take offense at your comment. It is offensive and blatantly so.
Sincerely,
Isis Erb
