This is a really stupid question, but I've interrogated the Help on Visio
and it's not helping!
I have a diagram to edit, and feedback from the project manager says "Change
the colours". (The colours on the diagram are a pale yellow and a pale
purple to make the diagram readable on the screen. The project manager
advises that most users will print the manual out on a b/w printer, and the
colours therefore need to look distinct in shades of grey.)
The easiest way to do this is to open up Tools > Color Palette, select
colour, click "Edit", right?
Except that neither colour used on the diagram is showing up on the Color
Palette... they're both custom colors, separately added, and show up ONLY
when I right-click, select Format, select Fill. Then they show up on the
drop-down list box underneath the standard colours, above "Custom" - but
when I click on "Custom" the custom colours aren't there EITHER.
It looks like it'll be easier to start editing a colour from scratch than
figure out how to amend a custom color, but for future reference, does
anyone know how to edit a custom colour in Visio?
Much thanks. Wistful thoughts of CorelDRAW.
