More often than not, developers in my previous organization created image files using PowerPoint, converted them to the required format. Since we had graphic designers in my previous organization the writing team did not own the responsibility to recreate the image files. Since we do not have graphic designers in my current organization, what moot points about PowerPoint should I enlighten them about apart from just telling them that the process of converting presentation slides to the required format rips the image of its quality?
Simply asked, what are the Pros and Cons of using PowerPoint to create image files that will be used in product documentation?
