Robohelp gives you the ability to use build tags. So you can assign
specific build tags to each topic. For example, you could have topics that
have a "C++" tag, a "Java" tag or a "Common" tage. When you compile the
project you then tell it which build tags to include in the build.

Does that help?

"My client makes a software application that can be used with multiple
languages/platforms (Java, C, C++ for UNIX/LINUX/Windows and Visual Basic
for Windows). These products have a lot of information in common, so I'm
creating one master help file for all that information . But users will also
need procedures/information that are specific only to that
language/platform. Is there an easy way to do this without maintaining a
completely separate help file for each language? My client has specified
that they don't want users to see help that doesn't apply to the specific
product they're using."
