Subject:Help needed: Word doc to PDF From:Debby Wu <DebbyWu -at- BenQ -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 19 Sep 2002 09:52:07 +0800
Hi all,
I am new to the field and I am new to the list :-)
I was quite excited when I first round the list, and I've been reading
for about a couple of months now.
The information is only too useful and the tips are great.
Now, I've been having this problem which I need help from you experts.
I am trying to turn a word doc into a PDF file with Acrobat Distiller 5.
This word doc is not in A4 size (something much smaller), and I have
adjusted the Distiller/PostScript Printer settings accordingly.
However, no matter what I have done with Acrobat products, the word doc
always comes out as a A4 size PDF file.
I sent the doc for another writer for help, and obviously her Acrobat
products were acting much nicer and did the job beautifully.
Unfortunately we haven't been able to nail down exactly what settings
can induce Acrobat to perfom this job correctly.
Could someone give me a hand on this? Thanks a lot!! :-)
Best Regards,
Debby
