As a note to anyone who deals with HTML or other text files, check out
XEmacs, the graphical version of popular text editor Emacs. (X)Emacs makes
editing text files very fast because you don't have to take your hands off
the home row on the keyboard to move around the file.

CTRL+N takes you to the next line. CTRL+P takes you to the previous.
(X)Emacs navigation and manipulation is virtually all by keyboard.

Plus, (X)Emacs supports a wide variety of modes...they're a bit like plugins
for a web browser in that modes extend the functionality of (X)Emacs. For
editing HTML files, I use HTML mode. In html mode, I can close off an open
tag with a CTRL sequence instead of typing out the closing tag.

The beautiful thing is that (X)Emacs doesn't require a Linux computer. A
Windows version of XEmacs is available here:

www.xemacs.org/Download/win32/

XEmacs for Windows uses the same "plugins" as the Linux version uses. So, to
answer Bruce's "question" -- yes, the Win32 version of (X)Emacs can use
psgml mode. (Bruce: I get the Win32 'modes' from the XEmacs menus for
managing packages, just like in Linux.)
