Meanwhile, back at solutions central ( where we use FM :>):

When beginning with a new employer/project open the FM site dictionary and
enter the names of everyone you will be working and communicating with, the
company name, and all product names etc. - subsequent spell checks (which
you will do before each file save) will grab the typos.

Next, create a variable for every product name, proprietary name, slogan,
and the names of the stakeholders etc. Always use the var. - don't run the
risk of mistyping critical stuff.

Next set up a template for your doc and put a "DRAFT ONLY" watermark on each
master page. Only remove it when the doc is final.

Next write, circulate, and get signed off, a concise document creation
procedure so that those involved understand what draft only means, and how
and when reviews will be conducted.

Some of this you will have prepared before your first day, so that you can
get this set up quickly and before you do anything else.

Cheers,
Margaret
