I haven't seen a non-free Wiki yet. Most are GPL-ed (released under the
GNU Public License, the defacto open source software license).
By the way, you can tell your CVS-happy developers that TWiki, the
flavor of Wiki I use, uses RCS for revision control and versioning. That
ought to make them happy :)
