Yes, rationally-speaking, you're probably right. The amount of time chasing down a small debt isn't usually worth your time. And it probably isn't very good for mental health, either. But, irrationally-speaking, the temptation is strong.

The last I heard, this particular deadbeat said he would pay. I'll wait a week or so to see what happens, then decide what to do. If I do get a cheque, then I'm running to the bank right away.

BTW, didja notice that the only time you're called incompetent is when someone is trying to avoid paying? It says something about the business smarts of this type that they think that insulting you will make you more like to forget what you're owed.

If worse gets to worst, I'll take care of him for you. :-)
