Hi Guys -
Can you all help and suggest web sites - which can provide me with
background information of how to design an Internal Website (for us
(company) and selected customers - government) for some of our internal on
line Documentation.
I have been given this task today - I need to report back Tuesday morning
with a little 10 page report - describing the process and pitfalls for the
next management meeting.
It has to include the standard issues - Audience analysis, the
Accessibility issues, design issues, graphic, background colours,
suggested Font types and sizes - New Times Roman, Arial vs Verdana etc.
whatever...
Herin lies my Problem - I have never designed a website - some process
should be similar to designing and planning a New Document / User Guide
But..... there are obviously differences.
When I asked where and with whom should I should get some of the Details -
Was told use the Web it is rich with resources.
A google search "On Planning and / or designing a Website" brings up many
entries - reading each one is taking far to much time. Any Sites
dedicated to Procedures - on how to Design and Plan website would be
appreciated.
Looking in the achieves has not been a joy - Similar type question
although asked provide either a too broad an answer or to specific. Nor
has the slow web response been very helpful - Spend the greater part of
today glued to the Pc much to the delight and helpful (Not) suggestion
from the family.
Is this in my Job description - Yes as all Paid slaves have to do what
they have to do.
