Based on my experience with generic and refilled cartridges, you're better
off taking the deep breath and ponying up the cost of the brand print
cartridges. The grief caused by the generic and refills simply is NOT worth
the savings.

I agree. The last time I tried one of these "money-savers," I needed to use a hypodermic needle to inject the ink into the cartridge. The needle slipped, and I now have a "tatoo" on the end of my thumb!
