If it's important to you to be able to ask "how does this
topic/feature/tool work with this need I have," during your learning
experience, then you might make your choice based on whether or not
the online self-study course offers the opportunity to ask the
question and get an answer.

Another consideration is whether or not access to post-course support
for topics covered in class is available.
