I'm currently working as a QA in a company involved in billing.
I used to work as a network administrator before and i have a strong
background in computers.
Among the topics i command :

Networking + all kind of hardware related.
Windows 95/98/2000 cics,ibm 3270 mainframes ,netpass,tcp/ip,
linux/unix,vms, SQL server sna server, fax servers, IIS 4.0,
Banking Software ,lotus notes.

I would like to start to work as a freelancer technical writer at home
although
english is not my mother tongue.
I would like to hear your recommendations.
Thanks
