Yes! Which is why I don't need/want the ingredients
listed in "shopping order". I can create a ordered
shopping list if I need to, but every dish doesn't
start with a shopping trip.
All I want from a recipe is the ingredients in the
order of use, and clear directions, preferably in
numbered steps. Clear, accurate, useful. Theory
belongs elsewhere, unless the book is intended as a
tutorial.
