There are other advantages to using Visio for the icons. Off the top of my
head...:
- If, at some point in the future, you switch to Visio, your new stuff will
have the same look and feel.
- You can label the icons first and therefore, create multiple versions; NY
Server London Server, etc.
- They can be colored, resized, and otherwise manipulated so that when you
do export them, you are working with icons that are closer to what you need
in the first place.
- You can use Visio for the layout, then replicate the layout in whatever
other application you are using.
