I first signed on in 1994, my first posting was in October of that year. I
recall the big thrill when we first cracked the 1,000 subscriber mark, and
Oklahoma U. started getting twitchy about the load we were putting on their
servers.
Like many others, I've gotten quite a bit of good stuff out of the list over
the past ten years. Also, I've built some good friendships. I don't
contribute as much as I used to, in part because I switched to digest a
couple of years back...and frequently just reading ahead reveals "Oh,
somebody else already answered that question."
This list is a valuable resource, and my hat's off to Eric and Deborah for
their years of hard work!
