As already noted a little uncertainly, yes, Acrobat 5 can dowload a site and retain its links, up to many depths, but it converts the site to PDF.

If this is your own (or company's) site, you can dowload it via FTP to a local folder. In fact, your company's Web-ster can probably give you the folder you need, without having to download. You traverse the site with a Web browser.

The advantage of PDF is that you can use Acrobat Catalog - it runs on PC-Windows only to create a searchable index that's usable on any platform, but it doesn't work across http:// connections, only on drives that can be seen on a local machine or on a network drive mapped to that machine.

Anyone know of a tool that saves a website to a folder?
This folder would be burned onto CD, and the CD searchable.
