I wondered about that myself. I had been that company's first tech
writer and publications manager, and their manuals were still using
the formats I had originally designed, so anything he would have
written would have used the template and had the same or similar
look anyway. It was when I called my old company that I learned
that the candidate had contracted there for almost a year and had
never actually completed a manual of his own from cover to cover.
