Wiki (or the newer version, twiki) is a collaborative
Web environment. It has some roots in XP (eXtreme
Programming) processes, and is vaguely similar to WebDAV,
but it really its own thing.

On a couple of current projects, the entire
development team uses twiki to manage all of
the project documentation (specs, schedules,
process docs). It's really cool, if everyone
buys into it, because the docs stay pretty
much up to date and reflective of reality.
E.g., if a decision is made in a meeting to
change an aspect of the product design, anyone
can update the page in real time to reflect
that change.

It's been wonderful over here, but your milage
may vary.

Eric
