RE: The odds of finding work through job ads
[E]very time I speak to a recruiter or hiring manager, even when I'm currently employed, I ask if they want to be notified when I'm coming off contract. If they say yes, they go on the list.
If I go to a company web site's employment page and see the address to send resumes, they go in the database.
If I go to a web page containing a list of recruiters, they go in the database.
If a recruiter contacts me through Monster, Dice, etc., they go in the database.
Is this evil?
