I've already repsonded to FOUR of Mr. Simanski's NINE posts (just this morning!) on this thread.  I sent them off-list because I didn't want to revive this thread, which I thought had played itself out.

But this statement is too much to bear.

Mr. Simanski implies that I'm not a professional because I actually choose to use Word for many tasks for which he thinks it's unsuitable.

I consistently deliver documentation that meets or exceeds expectations, on time or ahead of schedule, using a tool that allows the client to maintain the documentation after I've gone.

It's what they pay me to do.
