Can I try modifying Andrew's statement? I realize that Andrew is not going
to agree with this, but what's new.

[Not wanting to try to eliminate all] Inaccuracies (through every practical
means possible] are 100% the direct fault of the author(s) and editors.

Another inflamitory statement and a red herring. If the writer is to
actually do
some writing, they're going to have to base some of their facts on
engineering and development data and documentation. If those
documents/data are erroneous, then it certainly isn't the writers
fault
that there's an error.

If there's a change at the last minute after the docs have been printed. Is
it
the writer's fault? Of course not.

Seems just like more of Andrew's patented loathing of techwriters in
general.
