Hello all,
Thanks to all who responded to my precious question on
Principles for procedure writing. They were very
informative.
They also got me to think about readability and
tech-writing. Several people mentioned that writing at
a sixth-grade level is not the same as writing to a
sith-grader and I agree but how do you know that you
are writing to that specific level?
Do any of you use readability formulas or something
similar for that or for anything else?
If you don't use a readability formula how do you know
you are writing to the level of your audience? Is it
all instinct or is it something else.
again thanks for all the great help and for reading
this far.
Have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Frederick Hone
