I seem to recall the question arising in the past of how to create a text file
from a directory. I don't know if the solution was found, but I just found one
that is working rather nicely. It's so simple, actually. I admit,
parenthetically, that I did not consult the archives, because I have never
been able to locate what I wanted in them before, and when I knew there were
posts about the subject I wanted to know more about, I still could not find
the messages. I consider myself to be a fairly good researcher, but I can't
seem to get the archives to perform for me.

At any rate, the solution I found was to use my FTP software, specifically,
WS_FTP Pro. If I click "Dir Info" on the main console, poof! There's exactly
what I need.

Just wanted to pass this along, because there doesn't appear to be a way in
Windows to accomplish this. However, if someone else indeed posted the answer
and I don't know it because I've not attempted to find it in the archives,
please forgive the redundancy.
