AFAIK, toll-free lines have been commercially
available for a couple of decades now.

I see that as a non-issue, or at best a weak argument.
I know, without a doubt, that I will not lose any
"edge" I have. My current workflow is solid, and, as I
think we all argued not a week ago, it's not the tool
that makes the difference with regard to
single-sourcing. Right? ;)

As far as the trade show analogy, there's a
difference. At a trade show, you pay your way to enter
an opportunity to get a wide variety of info from a
wide variety of sources. In the case of eHelp's
webinar thingamajig, you're paying to be included in a
captive audience for a sales pitch. It might not be
paying eHelp, but it is a payment.

Doesn't that strike anyone else as odd?

Toll-free lines would work. Streaming audio would
work. Downloadable video would work.

Dunno. Maybe I'm just cheap. Nah, it must be the years
of marketing/sales abuse I've experienced from eHelp.
Yeah, that's it. ;)
