You could give me the title of "jackass" and it
wouldn't change how I work. But that's another thread

By title, yes. By job, no.

Titles are important within an organization, but
outside that specific environment they don't mean
much. I have a friend who is a CTO. Sounds great, but
in reality the company is 6 people large and the
"secretary" has a "Marketing Director" title.

It's all relative.
