As I'm sure is the case with everyone one this list, in my
area (NJ), there are two large open-air auctions;
Collingswood Auction and Englishtown Auction.

Auction is really a misnomer; in reality, they are big lots
where people rent a table for a day and sell anything they
want...kinda like a huge garage sale. There may be a few
hundred tables every Saturday and Sunday.

Usually in the back, there are a few tables that sell
software, mostly unboxed CD.

Upon casual inspection, they look like any other sw we buy.
However, upon close inspection, you notice that the labels
are reproductions, the serial number labels are part of the
reproduction, and there are no holograms.

The other thing you notice is that SW that should sell for
hundreds of dollars is going for $20 per CD...and there are
always multiple people in front of the tables.

I think it's this type of user they are trying to
discourage.
