Thanks to those who answered my posting. It seems this process is standard
in the US or from US based companies. This company also seems to be from
there with an office here in Montreal. Maybe that's why I was not familiar
with it. Most companies do want to meet you face to face. ( except fo
course, if you live in anlother city and that is not feasible)
