So there's active development? Are the specs up to
snuff? Do they want to be able to roll this out as
soon as coding is done? If so, having someone there
documenting as they code is important, if not dire, to
the immediate release of the system.
Tech writers should never be left to cleanup. Sure,
they are, but you should always push for in-cycle
work, so you're pacing yourself with developers and
not playing catch-up.
