One common problem I run into a lot is that my nicely worded active voice is
changed to passive...
Perhaps we could get an example of what kind of change was made? "This is
what I wrote: [a]; here are my boss's edits: [b]." Right now, I feel like we
don't actually know what kind of change was actually made and we're all
making as assortment of suggestions that may or may not apply.
