Have the people who sent you the FM files send you the
MIFs instead... it's a simple save-as from
FrameMaker...

WebWorks Publisher and like programs won't help you.
They are designed to take FM files and make Help and
HTML files. Filtrex may help, but it's expensive.

Yep.

Might be the best option. The cold, hard fact is that
there's a major paradigm shift (are my pointy tufts
showing?) between FrameMaker and Quark. FM's a long
document authoring app, while Q is more of a layout
app.

Without the Mif, I don't think there's an easy route
from point A to point B...

Wekk, you can use Acrobat to export to TXT and RTF...
but if there are many graphics, that could be
problematic, or at least warrant lots of time to
reconstitute the files in Quark, plus a lot of
aspirin.
