Because you already have the years of experience, have you considered trying
to attend an industry conference where some sessions are on RH topics? Of
course what comes immediately to mind is the annual Online Help Conference
(http://winwriters.com/ohc04/index.html), which not only usually has several
RH sessions, but eHelp usually has a big marketing presence there as well.

Disclaimer: I've attended the conference every year, I used to work for
WinWriters, I've produced the conference newsletter for the past several
years, and I'm speaking again this year (although not on RH).

I don't know how the costs compare, but I do know that this conference is a
font of knowledge, not just about RH. Between the RH sessions and talking to
both the RH people and fellow conference attendees, I'm sure you'll get a
lot of knowledge gaps filled.

I'm trying to get my company to pay for RoboHelp training. Due to the
cost, you can imagine their reluctance. I am self taught and have been
using Robohelp for 6 years, but I know there are things I'm doing the
"hard way". I need feedback on the Basic/Intermediate training they
offer. I am looking at upgrading from X3 to X5. We are developing a new
.net product. However, our customers will be required to have IE, so I
think I can stay with .html.

I checked their web site. I know what ehelp says. I need to know what
people who attended it said..especially if you've used the product for a
few years before attending the training. You can email me directly if
you wish. Thanks in advance.
