>What is wrong with "primary" and "secondary"?

Aside from a discussion of the paragraph, there is a difference between
primary/secondary and master/slave.

Primary/secondary give a meaning of importance or hierarchy and
master/slave denotes a reliance of one to the other.

A strobe light system...there is a master strobe. The flash of the
master strobe triggers the flash of the slave strobe. The slave strobe
could be just as important as the master, so I wouldn't consider it a
secondary strobe.

This isn't a repeat of the whole thread of somehow equating a slave
strobe light to a crime against humanity, is it?
